What We Treat

When Dr. Sheorain returned homeland, he was taken a back to find that very few centers or physicians were treating vascular malformations in India. He slowly developed a vascular care center and started creating awareness in North India about the vascular malformations and various ways to treat it. He regularly does workshops to train the physicians and gives lectures and writes blogs on vascular malformations for common people. His sole intention behind creating this webpage is spreading knowledge & creating awareness; so that patients suffering from vascular malformations know better about their disease entity and at least they can go to a center or know a place where they can be treated.

Tumors or malformations caused by a damage/defect in the vascular system, including arteries, veins, lymphatics and capillaries are called as vascular anomalies. They are very different for each Individual. Some patients may only have one vascular anomaly, while others may have a combination of two or more. Some vascular anomalies occurs on the surface of the skin, while others reside below the skin and involve blood vessels and other organs. Some are cosmetic concerns, while other anomalies affect a function of the body like vision, breathing, eating or speaking. Mostly vascular anomalies are benign, but there may be a risk of some being cancerous. The good news is that Dr. Sheorain’s Vascular Anomalies team has the expertise and experience necessary to treat or at least guide patients with all kinds of vascular anomalies, including:
